Summary: Talking to Paull Ly, an Asian American travelling nurse, during COVID was such a privilege. While we did not discuss much about his racial identity and how it related to nursing, he was excited to tell me about the various Asian American communities he was involved in throughout high school and university. Paull Ly attended the University of Iowa from 2008 to 2012. In this interview, Paull Ly recounts growing up as the kid of Cambodian refugees, sitting at the "Asian lunch table" at school, seeing the ups and downs of the Asian American Coalition, and his life as a travelling nurse today.
